Rabbi Avraham Arieh & Rachel
Trugman have forty-five years of expertise in Jewish education. They moved to
Moshav Meor Modiim in 1976, and Rabbi Trugman operated the Center for Jewish
Education there for many years, hosting people from more than 25 different
nations.
The Trugmans moved to Denver, Colorado,
in 1988 to serve as Regional Directors for NCSY. Ohr Chadash: New Horizons in
Jewish Experience is a vibrant initiative they founded and oversee as
Directors. Since their return to Israel in 1995, the organization has served
tens of thousands of people. Over the years, they've amassed millions of views
across their online platforms, including their website, YouTube channel,
Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, and Facebook profiles.
Throughout their travels, the Trugmans
have led Shabbatons, taught seminars, played music, and served as
scholars-in-residence in more than fifty different places throughout the globe.
In addition, Rabbi S. Trugman has recorded nine albums of original music and
published nine books.
Rachel Trugman is a family therapist at
Ohr Chadash and an artist who has released a colouring book with poems titled
Tales of the Talmud.
Counselling
Rachel has been a teacher and
counsellor for over 25 years, so she knows how to listen to people deeply. She
employs methods that specialize in trauma release and assist individuals in
overcoming the effects of traumatic events. She has the expertise and
Torah-based guidance that a Jewish soul, regardless of observance level, needs
due to her training and experience working with the religious community.

privacy, and rates are set on a sliding basis. Rachel anticipates the therapy
sessions to be a thrilling journey of self-discovery and a revitalization of
